Whilst the UFC is making their roster smaller, Elite XC is adding names to make it bigger.
Elite XC have announced that they have signed two female fighters, and one male. The male fighter is great UK prospect Dan Hardy. Hardy has competed in competitions all over the UK, and is the Cage Warriors Welterweight Champion. He has reportedly signed a twelve month, 3 fight deal. His first fight will be in June, as he already has fight commitments in May.
The first of the female fighters announced is Carina Damm, sister of Brazilian pro fighter Rodrigo Damm. Her current record in 9-3. She has previously fought for BodogFight, and is coming off a 4 fight winning streak. Her most recent victory was against Lashonda Knox at Freestyle Combat Challenge 34.
The second female fighter announced is Debi "Whiplash" Purcell. She has reportedly signed a 3 fight deal, and is making her debut on June 27th against Carina Damm. Purcell has a current record of 4-1 and trains out of Ruas Vale Tudo.
