Sources close to Josh Neer have advised fight fans that he will be returning to the Octagon at Ultimate Fight Night 14, scheduled for September.Neer currently hold a pro record of 24-6-1, winning his last fight against Din Thomas via unanimous decision. This fight took place in April at UFN 13. After what will be a five month lay off, Neer is ready to return.
Prior to his fight with Thomas, Neer had not fought for the UFC in 2 years, instead taking time out to fight in smaller organizations. This may be due to the two back to back losses he suffered at the hands of Josh Burkman and Nick Diaz. Neer is back on his winning track and is looking forward to his next fight. His opponent has not yet been named.
