Many fans wont remember the name Fred Ettish. He holds a record of 0-1, and hasn't fought since 1994. This hasn't deterred him, however, and he wants another shot.
Ettish has reportedly contacted YAMMA promoter Bob Meyrowitz to ask for a shot. He believes he has learned from his mistakes made in UFC 2, and believes YAMMA is the place to find his first win. He believes his cardio is great, and thinks he could be a force in the competition. Age, however, isn't on his side. At the age of 52, he might just be too old to accomplish anything, but you have to give him credit for trying. It will be interesting to see if Meyrowitz allows him to step into the Pit in the future.
