New upstart promotion Affliction has reportedly lost both its TV deal with HDNet, and its venue for its first show.
The show, scheduled to take place in July, no longer has the use of the American Airlines event centre in Dallas, Texas. This is the venue used by HDNet Fights, and it is looking likely that a collapsed deal with the HDNet TV station has also fallen through. This is the second time an affiliation deal has fallen through for the promotion, as their original partner, Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions has also backed out.
Affliction are already looking for new venues, with the Pond in Anaheim, California looking a likely possibility. Any further information we receive will be passed on to you straight away.
