Strikeforce's vice president has announced a title fight for their event scheduled for June 27th.
TUF veteran and Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Bobby Southworth has signed to defend his belt in a rematch against Anthony Ruiz.
The pair fought in November last year, with Southworth losing the bout due to a cut. Since that loss, Southworth has won the Strikeforce title by beating Vernon "Tiger" White, and defended it against Bill Mahood.
Ruiz is currently on a six fight winning streak, and has fought and won two fights since beating Southworth the first time around. His two wins since Southworth have come in the forms of Super Heavyweight Jimmy Ambriz, and TUF 2 veteran Brad Imes.
