Earlier this week, we reported that Sean Sherk had passed random pre fight drug test. (See here for the original story http://mmatrivia.blogspot.com/2008/05/sherk-and-penn-pass-random-drug-tests.html)
In a statement released by Keith Kizer, chairman of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, we have been told that this is not the case. Sherk was tested on or around the 22nd of April, as a requirement for his license to be issued. The results have not yet come back to the commission, as they take over 2 weeks to be tested.
