Justin Levens has reportedly tested positive for the drug oxymorphone in the aftermath of the Affliction: Banned fight card.Levens was scheduled to fight Ray Lazama, but due to time constraints, the bout did not go ahead.
Oxymorphone is a semi-synthetic opioid analgesic, which is a prescribed medication used to treat moderate to severe pain. The levels of this substance in his blood stream were 10,141 ng/ml, way above the California State Athletic Commission's cut off limit of 120ng/ml.
Levens has been issued with a $1000 dollar fine and is suspended for six months, until January 15th 2009.
