Elite XC have announced that they have cancelled their September 20th event. No reason has been given for the cancellation, although there has been speculation that they were struggling to find a main event fight for the night.
Pro Elite, the parent company of Elite XC has also announced that they have cancelled a Cage Rage Contenders event to be held in the UK tonight. Again, no reason has been given.
Bao Quach and Wilson Reis will meet at Elite XC's September 20th event to crown a 140lb champion.
The 140lb division within Elite XC currently doesn't have a champion, so the winner of this fight will make history as the first champion ever in the weight class.
The event takes place September 20th in Alburquerque, New Mexico and is headlined by Joey Villasenor and a currently unnamed opponent.
On September 20th, Elite XC will be heading to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This coincides with the announcement that Joey Villasenor will appear on the card. This is significant as Villasenor fights out of Greg Jackson's camp, based in Albuquerque.
No other names have been announced for the card as yet, but these announcements are expected within the next few weeks, so keep checking back.
