Dana White On The Future Of Arlovski

For months now, fans have been wondering what has happened to Andre Arlovski. The facts, as we understand them are that Arlovski fought his last fight on his UFC contract against Jake O'Brien in March, and has not fought since.

Not only has he not fought, but he hasn't signed a contract with any organisation, and as such, is still a free agent.

From here, we move into the realms of rumors and guess work. For the past few weeks, fans have been led to expect Arlovski to sign with Affliction, for a fight against former IFL Heavyweight Ben Rothwell. This has not happened, and now looks unlikely to do so. The UFC, although rumored to have had a fall out with Arlovski, claim that this is not the case. In fact, Dana White has released a statement stating that they would like him back. This is what Dana had to say on the subject

“We were just talking about Arlovski," said White. "We want to sign him. It’s our intention to sign him. But I don’t know. We’re, well, I don’t know. We want to. Whether we will or not, I have no idea. We like Andrei and I know the fans like Andrei. I hope we can do something.”

I guess we will only know for sure when Arlovski has signed with whoever he chooses. We wish Arlovski well in his pursuits (but at the same time, please hurry Andrei!)
