Yesterday we announced that Mark Coleman had to pull out of his August match up with Brock Lesnar due to a knee injury (See here for original story http://mmatrivia.blogspot.com/2008/05/mark-coleman-out-of-ufc-87.html)We have heard from a few sources that the UFC is attempting to secure Heath Herring as a replacement for Coleman. Herring has a professional record of 28-13, and is currently coming off a win against Cheick Kongo via split decision at UFC 82. This fight took place in March this year, meaning that Herring will have had a five month lay off if he takes this fight.
