Nogueira plans to bring his own brand of jiu-jitsu to the TV screens of the fans, as a way of getting the concepts more widely known. Nogueira is considered to be one of, if not the best, jiu-jitsu fighter in the Heavyweight division.
Nogueira also plans to bring in a lot of coaches, with Amaury Bitteti and Daniel Valverde as his grappling coaches, and a boxing coach that he will select from America. Coaches are allowed to bring in a guest coach every week if they wish, and Noueira plans to take advantage of this. He wants to bring various members of his team in, both from Brazil and America, including his brother, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
When asked about the finale, Nogueira was unsure whether he would be fighting Mir, as he has not yet been approached about the fight. He did mention that he will have a meeting with UFC executives next week about all the ins and outs of the show, and would expect to find out about his opponent then.
