UFC Veteran Shonie Carter is scheduled to be back in the cage at Strikeforce's show this month. The card is headlined by Josh Thomson versus Gilbert Melendez.Carter's opponent will be Luke Stewart, one of the rising stars in Strikeforce's Welterweight division. Stewart is 5-1 in his professional career, and is coming off a loss to Tiki Ghosn at Strikeforce's Shamrock Versus Le event.
Carter, however, is a seasoned veteran of the sport, with a record of 39-17-7. This fight will make his third fight in as many months, which is a tough pace for any figter. Shonie is coming off a two fight winning streak, and looks to make this three in a row. The event will take place on June 27th at the HP Pavillion.
