Last week we posted that Mac Danzig was rumored to be fighting Clay Guida at UFC 87. (See here for original story http://mmatrivia.blogspot.com/2008/05/danzig-versus-guida-signed-for-ufc-87.html)Today we have learned that this fight will not happen at UFC 87. mac Danzig has stated that he will not be fighting in August at all. He is instead expecting to fight in September. It is not yet known whether Danzig will still face Guida in this match up, or if Guida will remain on this card and a new opponent will be found for both fighters.
